Will the dividends be automatically paid to shareholders, or will there be some application process to convert shares into isk?

Well, all along, through all the negativity, I've kept the faith. Not that I was gonna get 100% of my isk back, but that the ebank folks were honestly making an effort to put things to right. I've believed at times that the Ebank BOD's actions were a bit heavy-handed, and I've thought from the beginning that liquidation was the way to go and I'm sorry that it's taken us this long to get here, but I can only imagine the effort that's goine into tracking down all the depositer accounts, sorting out who's active and who's not, distributing the shares and the like.
Having recieved my shares, I want to thankj all involved. I'll wait to see what they actually turn out to mean, isk-wise. Getting anything back for me really will be gravy, since I had long-ago accepted the loss of a considerable sum to what turned out to be a bad bet.
Thanks for all your work Ray and AmarrCitizen.

How much is an EBANK share worth? Is the value above 0.00 isk?
Finally after pages and pages of recriminations and gum flapping an interesting and relevant question. How about at least an estimate so we can plan?

Originally by: Ray McCormack The share distribution has been completed. If you have not received any shares and believe you should have, please contact myself or AC155, you have until 30 April 2011 to lodge a complaint.
We have at least 1,297 shares leftover, these will be auctioned off to the highest bidder, expect a thread in the next few days.
Why? Presumably no one would buy the shares for more than they are worth, so the amount of money returned to the bank and distributed to the shareholders would not cover the extra payout, diminishing the value of everyones' shares. Why not just write them off and begin the payouts?

I'm glad you asked (not really, but I'm told it pays to be polite). We cannot un-create the shares, or write them off as you suggest. I suppose we could leave them in the corp wallet, and just re-issue the dividends they receive again and again until there is nothing left, but that would be a pain and the potential loss of up 1.2b ISK in dividends is negligible (in my eyes, and they're the only soulful green eyes that matter).
Game mechanics. Gotcha. But I do share the above poster's question; how did you have some left over? Rounding errors?

I want to echo the previous posters and thank you guys for your efforts.
One question (and please don't take this as a complaint as I see any recovery from Evebank as an unexpected return of funds long ago written off): the payout was roughly half of what I expected based upon Ray's estimate of a liquidation value of approximately 450k per share. I see that AC has said there will be more payouts - are they likely in toto to more or less double what we have received thus far?
Just trying to plan. Thanks.
